Daily Weight Loss Motivation - The Basic Elements Found In Every Successful Weight Loss Program

It's not enough for you to have a weight loss program to adhere to. There are certain elements you need to incorporate daily to your program to help yourself succeed and reach your weight goals. If you notice, there are times when no matter how hard you try to stick to your weight loss program, you still can't seem to reach your weekly / monthly goals. Because of this you start to lack in daily weight loss motivation, slack on your routine, and eventually, give up all together. Well here are a few elements you can start doing daily to help you succeed in your journey with losing weight.

Start Right, Sleep Right. Your day would not start right if you did not have a good night's sleep, so make sure to take regular sleep hours. On average you should be sleeping for 7-8 hours per night, nothing below 4 hours. If you are one of those people who suffer from insomnia or other sleeping disorders, ask your doctor about medication you can take to help alleviate the symptoms.
Start Right, Eat Right. Eat a healthy breakfast before starting your day. Energize yourself with a healthy serving of fruits, whole grain, oats, juice or tea. Take in healthy foods that will fill you up and lower your cholesterol at the same time. Studies have shown that people who skip breakfast and starve themselves eat more during the day because starvation increases appetite.
Start Right, Drink Right. Keep yourself hydrated and drink at least 8 8oz. glasses of water every day. Water normalizes your digestive system and helps you in both elimination and detoxification. Water also helps your body absorb nutrients and minerals better which in turn help the body become stronger and healthier, keeping you more able to complete your weight loss program.
Move It, Shake It. Exercise is an essential activity in your everyday life. Important as it is, it poses as one of the greatest challenges in a person's daily weight loss motivation. Doing exercises may not be fun for some people, and doing it daily might not be as attractive as daily trips to the mall would be. The key to overcome this is to mix up your exercises and to at least do something physically active every day. Start walking instead of taking your usual commute. Do a little dancing, join a sports activity in your work or neighborhood, do more strenuous house chores. Just don't stop moving, a sedentary lifestyle will surely pull you off on your goals of losing weight.
Plan It, Write It. Make it a routine to write a to-do-list. This will help you become more productive. Write down what you want to accomplish for today or for the day that will follow, write down which activities you want to do to achieve your goals. Also, take time to reflect on your day. It doesn't have to be long paragraphs. Short, fragments or sentences will do. What have you done right? What do you plan to do to improve yourself?
When you start right, move it, and plan it, your daily weight loss motivation will surely be heightened. You'll have more drive and inspiration to stay with your weight loss programs and get to where you want to be in your life!

Top 10 Secrets to Nip Nibbling

1. Observe: Have you ever seen another Mom eat off her children's plates? When we're able to look at something objectively we often see how we must look when we do the same thing. If you don't like how it looks, don't do it yourself. 2. Visualize: Imagine everything you've snacked on throughout the day...a few handfuls of chips while you're watching TV, a few tastes of the meal you're preparing for dinner, some cookies that were on the counter. Now imagine putting it all on a plate. How does the plate look? Visualize this plate in addition to the meals you've eaten throughout the day. 3. Distract: Often just getting involved in another activity is enough to stop you from "mindless munching". Try cleaning out a drawer, taking the dog for a walk, writing in a journal or any other activity that distracts you from nibbling and gives you pleasure.

Want Power Before Will Power

The problem isn't that you don't have enough will power to achieve what you want. You have will power, but it's not will power you need, it's want power.  You have to first want  You must want to change your habits, want to lose some weight, want to give up your evening snacking before your will comes into play. Once you want a thing badly enough, you will do whatever it takes. If you think you want something (to make a change in your eating habits perhaps), but then find it difficult to follow-through with your plans, most likely you simply want your current reality (your current habits and patterns) more than you want your goals (less weight, better health, etc.) I can hear you all the way over here, telling me I'm wrong: "No, that's not right! I want this more than anything, I just don't have any willpower!" Round and round you go, but the truth is, you will get what you really want. Think back, has there ever been a time when you rea...
